Initially we had to work with Nanotech to understand products and the ethos of the company.
Nanotech was a completely new product area as unlike food and sports supplements we had very limited knowledge of what the products were. Through collaboration and lots of communication we were able to gain an in-depth knowledge of what it was we were to be selling and the target audiences we were thus looking to sell these products to. The owners had a requirement to start selling online internationally, as the online sales were not in their realm of expertise. A lot of the success in selling was down to the product itself being that it was a high end product with great reviews.
Nanotech were a scientifically advanced car cleaning and paint protection company who specialised in protecting and restoring the paints of vehicles. Through research and many chats with the owners of the company we were able to come up with a sleek new bottle design which outclassed its predecessor.

Through research into the target demographic and again through lots of consultation with the owners we were able to create a website that functioned as they wanted but also had that look and feel of a luxury car product which is what the owners envisioned. This was accompanied by the new branded bottles and all together the site encompassed what nanotech wanted to project which was the feel of upper-class high-quality products that gets the job done to a pristine and unequivocal level. This example was also chosen by the owners to be done on OpenCart, which is a much less user friendly and unimaginative program unlike our usual ways of building sites. However, despite the limitations and lack of customisability that OpenCart offers, our team was able to rewrite code and bring together the look and feel of the website that the owners envisioned.
